Egyptian government robs Christians of their livelihood under pretense of fighting swine flu

Egyptian farmers block the streets to prevent health ministry vehicles getting past to carry out the mass-slaughter of swine

The Egyptian government is ordering a cull of up to 400,000 pigs. They have pigs in Egypt? Yes, pork is considered unclean by Muslims but some members of the impoverished, oppressed, dhimmified Christian community earn a living by raising pigs. NO CASES OF SWINE FLU HAVE BEEN DETECTED IN EGYPT. This is an excuse to enforce Islamic law on a dhimmi population. left Egypt's large Coptic Christian minority up in arms, especially the slum-dwelling "Zebaleen" rubbish collectors who rely on the hogs for their livelihood. Scores of them blocked the streets and stoned the vehicles of Health Ministry workers as they arrived to carry out the government's order at pig farms on the outskirts of Cario this afternoon.

“Our pigs are healthy. They are our capital and they have no diseases,” said Adel Ishak, who feeds his pigs from the rubbish he collects in Manshiet Nasser, northeast of Cairo.

Officials said that the farmers would be offered compensation of 1,000 Egyptian pounds (£120) per pig but there seemed to be little confidence that the money would ever materialise.

Mr Ishak said that his community receives 6,000 tonnes of organic rubbish every day, but if the pigs die there will be nowhere to put the waste. “What is the use of compensation? It will feed us only for several months, what then?" he asked.

Egypt has not had any confirmed cases of swine flu yet but government experts fear a pandemic flu strain could spread quickly through the country because most of its roughly 80 million people live in the densely packed Nile Valley, many in crowded slums in and around Cairo.

The World Health Organisation has repeatedly said, however, that the newly mutated H1N1 virus is not found in pigs - although the animals can be the vessels for the "genetic reassortment" that produces new strains - and that pork meat is safe to eat.

Joseph Domenech, chief veterinary office with the UN Food and Agriculture Officer in Rome, said the Egyptian order was "a real mistake".

"There is no reason to do that. It’s not a swine influenza, it’s a human influenza,” he said.

"The twentieth century represented the adolescence of mankind..."

This passage expresses hope that the nihilistic outlook of Europe and "progressive" America is a temporary phenomenon:

Nineteenth-century science, from Darwin to Freud, offered a series of body blows to ways of thinking about human beings and human lives that had prevailed since the dawn of civilization. Humans, just like adolescents, were deprived of some of the comforting simplicities of childhood and exposed to more complex knowledge about the world. And twentieth-century intellectuals reacted precisely the way that adolescents react when they think they have discovered Mom and Dad are hopelessly out of date. They think that the grown-ups are wrong about everything. In the case of twentieth-century intellectuals, it was as if they thought that if Darwin was right about evolution, then Aquinas is no longer worth reading; that if Freud was right about the unconscious mind, the Nicomachean Ethics had nothing to teach us.

The nice thing about adolescence is that it is temporary, and, when it passes, people discover that their parents were smarter than they thought. I think that may be happening with the advent of the new century, as postmodernist answers to solemn questions about human existence start to wear thin—we’re growing out of adolescence. The kinds of scientific advances in understanding human nature are going to accelerate that process. All of us who deal in social policy will be thinking less like adolescents, entranced with the most titillating new idea, and thinking more like grown-ups.

For more context on this passage read the excellent article "The Europe Syndrome" at the New Criterion.

Israeli media waking up?

YNet News (the online English version of the largest Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth) normally has centrist or left-of-center opinion pieces, but over the past 48 hours it has featured two articles that question the "two states for two peoples" conventional wisdom that governs mainstream Israeli politics:

Sara Eliash says that ‘two states for two peoples’ is an empty, deceptive leftist slogan

How many states have been established in the area that used to be called Palestine-Land of Israel? Today there are two states there, Israel and Jordan. And how many peoples live in them? If we insist on distinguishing the Palestinian people from the overall Arab world, there are two peoples living in these two countries; after all, there is no such thing as the Jordanian people, as all learned experts would agree.

The state of Jordan is ruled by the Hashemite regime (which isn’t exactly democratic); it settled there with the help of the British army. The Brits handed over the east side of the Jordan River, which was part of the mandated Land of Israel, to the Emir Abdullah, who arrived from Saudi Arabia.

Therefore, there are already two states for two peoples at this time; the only thing that possibly still remains to be done is to hold a multinational conference and decide on dividing the area in a more equal and just manner – by boosting the size of the Jewish State at the expense of Jordan.

What does the slogan “two states for two peoples” hide? In fact, we are talking about three states for two peoples, whereby we get roughly three-fourths of one country, as opposed to two and a quarter Arab states; that is, Jordan and a Palestinian state that possess 75% of the land area, and the dwarfed State of Israel, which is also home to an Arab irredenta with a hostile identity.

Modern Palestinian demand for state stems from anti-Semitic desire to harass Jews

It appears that even the most right-wing Likudniks ran out of the courage to question the basic assumptions entrenched here by the Left. Only 30-40 years ago, we were arguing whether there’s even such thing as a Palestinian people, and today there are almost no reservations over its demand for complete sovereignty. Its sophisticated PR agents managed to bring it into the family of nations via a fast tracked registration procedure. As opposed to what is customarily required, it was not required to present documents that prove longtime existence, cultural uniqueness, and previous experience in running a country.

The Kurds, for example, a people boasting a rich history and numbering 25 million souls, are forced to get by without a state of their own. The Basques, Catalonians, Corsicans, and Scots also have no state. Even the Native Americans, Flemish, the Copts and the Maronites have no state. Therefore, it is quite odd that it is precisely the absence of a Palestinian state that preoccupies the international community and the Israeli consciousness.

But in fact, it’s not so odd. The demand for the establishment of a Palestinian state, speaking of the recent Durban II conference, is another type of anti-Semitic trick against us. With all the giant states in the Middle East, it is the Jewish State that is required to share with the Palestinians the little territory that we have. Instead of our neighboring countries crowding a little more in favor of their repressed brethren, we are the only ones required to make do with less territory.

The Israeli media is generally just as leftist and self-loathing as the American media... hopefully this is a sign that even they are waking up to the dangers of two states living side-by-side in an illusive "peace."

Report: Obama wants aid to go to Palestinian Authority even if Hamas joins government

The Obama administration has asked Congress to amend U.S. law to enable the Palestinians to receive federal aid even if it forms a unity coalition with Hamas, the L.A. Times reported on Monday.

Hamas, which seized control of the Gaza Strip from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' forces in a bloody 2007 coup, has been deemed a terrorist organization by the U.S. and therefore cannot not legally receive U.S. government aid.

The U.S. has presented an $830.4-billion emergency spending bill, comprising funding for its wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The bill would also allocate $840 million to the Palestinian Authority and for reconstruction in the Gaza Strip following Israel's three-week offensive there earlier this year.

Because none of the Gaza aid can legally reach Hamas, it will be difficult to ensure its delivery to the coastal territory.

The U.S. has refused to grant aid to Hamas unless the group agrees to recognize Israel, renounce violence and agreeing to follow past accords secured between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

The administration's request for the minor changes to aid measures is unlikely to come into fruition, as no concrete plans are yet underway for a Palestinian unity government. Reconciliation talks between Hamas and Fatah have been ongoing, but have so far yielded no results.

Still, the move has stirred controversy among pro-Israel U.S. officials, according to the L.A. Times.

Republican Representative Mark Steven Kirk told Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at a House hearing last week that the proposal was tantamount to supporting a government with "only has a few Nazis in it," the L.A. Times said.

"Hindustan, Hindustan!"

I've gained a bunch of Indian subscribers and friends on YouTube since posting Islamic Crusades 6. This vid came through my inbox. Damned if I know what they're saying but it's a stirring epic patriotic song about India. Have a listen:

This is the song "Hindustan Hindustan" from the Hindi movie "Border." It is a great patriotic song- largely a narration of Indian culture, history, and character.

Dutch parliament bans dialogue with Hamas; Wilders' party flexes its muscle

Truly historic. This means that the Netherlands has a much clearer moral stance against the Islamist group than the US (after all an Obama adviser met with Hamas in 2008). This is a great victory for Geert Wilders' Party for Freedom and inspires hope that Europe may not be lost after all.

From Haaretz:

The Dutch parliament on Tuesday approved a motion seeking to block any dialogue between government officials and Hamas, Geert Wilders' Party for Freedom announced.

The motion - made in effort to counter growing calls in Europe to engage the Islamist group in dialogue - was put forward by MP Raymond de Roon, third on Wilders' list.

"We should never even talk to an organization that seeks the downfall of Israel. I am therefore glad that my resolution was accepted," de Roon said.

"Hamas is not only anti-Zionist," de Roon previously wrote about Hamas. "It is anti-Jewish and a racist organization. If the West speaks to Hamas, it will foment Jew-hatred." He added this hatred "flows directly from the pages of the Koran."

The controversial and publicly pro-Zionist Party for Freedom seeks to "protect the Netherlands from Islamization" by halting and minimizing the effects of immigration from non-Western countries. Recent polls predict the party, which in 2006 won nine seats out of 150 in parliament, would nab 32 seats if elections were held now.

Though in 2007 the party was described as a "pariah" movement, a rapprochement with other parties now seems closer. Last week former prime minister Dries Van Agt from the ruling party, the CDA, was quoted as warning his party members needed to "resist the temptation" of cooperating with Wilders' party.

I love it. Geert for President!

Who belongs in the Counter-Jihad Movement?

These videos were released by the United American Committee on YouTube. Speakers were hosted by ACT-Manhattan Chapter:

Can we fight Jihad and Sharia together with a 'moderate' Muslim? What divides us? What can bring us together. Is it possible?

Two counter-jihad thinkers and writers of jarringly opposite political persuasions came together to present their points of view.

Part 1: Lawrence Auster

Mr. Auster is a conservative writer with a particular emphasis on culture and immigration. His influential 1990 booklet, "The Path to National Suicide: An Essay on Immigration and Multiculturalism," made the cultural impact of mass non-Western immigration on America a legitimate topic in conservative debate. His other works on immigration include "Huddled Clich├ęs" and "Erasing America." On the Islam question, Mr. Auster has criticized mainstream conservative Islam critics who warn that Islam poses a mortal threat to our civilization but who propose no measures to stop it. He argues that the only way to assure the West's freedom from Islamic terrorism and jihad is to separate Islam permanently from the West, by stopping and reversing Muslim immigration and containing Islam in the historic Muslim lands. This policy, which he calls "Separationism," would mean in effect a return to the situation in effect during the only period since the founding of Islam when the West was safe from Islam; the three hundred years between the defeat of the Ottomans at Vienna in the late 17th century and the onset of mass Muslim immigration into the West in the late 20th century. He argues that instead of trying to spread democracy to the Islamic world, we need to stop the spread of Islam to our world. Mr. Auster maintains an active, one-person website, View From The Right.

Part 2: Supna Zaidi

Ms. Zaidi is editor-in-chief of Muslim World Today and director of Islamist Watch, a project at Daniel Pipes' Middle East Forum. Islamist Watch was created to resist Islamist attempts to spread Sharia Law in the West. She is also director of the Council of Democracy and Tolerance, a progressive Muslim think tank. She has been actively stressing how Islamists are trying to use the U.N. to censor critics of terrorism while it denigrates other religions.

The neutrality of evil

From the Jerusalem Post:

Hanoch Daum writes open letter to Swiss president in wake of meeting with Ahmadinejad

Greetings to the president of Switzerland:

On this important day, we wanted to thank you, all of us, for bothering to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day on Monday, and for choosing to share in our sorrow on this difficult day.

Your countrymen were generous people during the war, and they are also generous today. During the Holocaust, very few Jews managed to escape from Switzerland. In principle, you agreed to take in almost no refugee (being a neutral country and all,) and almost everyone who managed to get in was transferred to detention camps.

With your generosity, and with your famous neutrality, you stood at border crossings and attempted to capture anyone who arrived there, an act that constituted a death sentence. There were also children who made it to your country, mostly from France. You were so nice to them that you put them in camps. You did not integrate them and you did not take care of them, but rather, you closed them off at camps, as if they haven't had enough of that.

Another facet of your kind character, Mr. President, manifested itself through the fact that Hitler's Mein Kampf was a popular book in your country at the time, often offered as a wedding gift (if I'm not mistaken, the book on display at the Yad Vashem Holocaust museum is from Switzerland.)

You were so charming and neutral that assets from the Reich - Jewish assets of course, worth plenty of money - were deposited at your banks. Some of it, including securities and Judaica, are there to this very day.

You are certainly adorable and peace-loving people, Mr. President. For that reason, we were not surprised by the lovely gesture you organized for us Monday. The oh-so-creative idea to invite Iranian President Ahmadinejad to your country and grant him such respectable platform on Holocaust Memorial Day, in order to prove to the world that anti-Semitism has been eliminated, is a wonderful and original idea.

It was truly wonderful to see how, using a clever ploy, you tempted this hateful person to come to Switzerland, just so you can tell the world in a clear voice: "A Holocaust can happen again and there are some people who have not yet given up on the idea of exterminating the people of Israel. There are still states that deny history."

Yet what we failed to understand, Mr. President, is where this practical joke ends. That is, we saw your special meeting with that short and dangerous man, and we saw that Swiss representatives did not walk out when he spoke at the UN conference, and we wondered: When do you in fact intend to tell Iran's president that he is not really a respected guest in your country? When do you plan to tell him that he is part of a sophisticated public relations conspiracy that aimed to expose his real face to the world? Please keep us updated on this matter, so that we don't miss out on the happy ending.

Palestinians are not interested in "two states living side by side in peace"

The majority of them are interested in slaughter. Polls have shown this consistently since the beginning of the flawed Peace Process, yet both Bush and Obama have insisted on the creation of a Palestinian state. The main political force among the Palestinians, Hamas, does not even believe in nation-states in the modern sense; they believe in an Islamic Caliphate encompassing all Muslim lands and constantly expanding.

This video gives an insight into the mindset of the average Palestinian:

From the video description:

Last figure presents the Palestinian approval of the terror attack on the Yeshiva children in March 2008.

Iraqi gays slaughtered, beaten and intimidated: American "gay rights groups" prefer to cry bloody murder over the word "marriage"

From Jihad Watch:

Surely all the gay rights activists here in the West are going to vociferously condemn this? Then again, maybe not; after all, doing so might make them appear "closed-minded" and "intolerant" of different cultures -- anathema for all "enlightened" and "progressive" Westerners. More on this story. "Iraqi gay men face 'lives of hell,'" by Jim Muir for the BBC, April 18 (thanks to Alexandre):

Grainy footage taken on a mobile phone and widely distributed around Baghdad shows a terrified young Iraqi boy cowering and whimpering as men with a stick force him to strip, revealing women's underwear beneath his dishdasha (Arab robe).

"Why are you dressed as a girl?" roars one of the men, brandishing his stick as the youth removes his brassiere.

The sobbing boy, who appears to be about 12, tries to explain that his family made him do it to earn money, as they have no other source of income.

The scene, apparently filmed in a police post, reinforced reports of a campaign against gay men in Iraq which activists say has claimed the lives of more than 60 since December.

In the latest manifestation of the campaign, posters have appeared on walls in the poor Shia suburb of Sadr City in eastern Baghdad, listing alleged homosexuals by name and threatening to kill them.

Those named have gone underground, while gay men throughout the city and in some other parts of the country also live in fear.

The phenomenon seems mainly to be affecting Shia neighbourhoods, where a number of clerics have given sermons seen as homophobic incitement.

In Sadr City, Sheikh Jassem al-Mutairi used his Friday sermon to attack what he called "new private practices by some men who dress like women, and are effeminate".

He called on families to prevent their youngsters from following such a lifestyle.

Police sources say that in the past month alone, the bodies of six young men have been found in Sadr City, some with placards labelling them "perverts" or "puppies", the derogatory Iraqi term for gays.

"The campaign started in 2004, but now it's very much worse," said a Baghdad homosexual who goes by the name of Surour. He talked to the BBC on condition of anonymity.

"They kill the gays, they beat them up… I have a lot of friends that have been killed - 15 or 16, something like that, too much."[...]

Clerical cue

Gay activists believe the campaign emerged as police, militias and tribes took their cue from the clerics.[...]

A spokesman of the Sadrist movement - followers of the militant young cleric Moqtada Sadr whose Mehdi Army militia used to rule Sadr City - also said that there was nothing in Islam to say that homosexuals should be killed.

A shameful lie (i.e., taqiyya). Islamic law commands the execution of the homosexual. According to one legal manual, Minhaj al-Muslim ("the way of the Muslim"): “Gay people should be thrown head first off high buildings and if not killed on hitting the ground, they should be then stoned to death." Still not convinced? Read on:

But they are being killed, and the Shia militias are among the most oft-cited suspects...

Geert Wilders to release sequel to Fitna

From Gates of Vienna:

From the English-language edition of Politiken:

Wilders plans sequel to Fitna

Geert WildersNRC HANDELSBLAD: The populist Dutch politician Geert Wilders is planning a sequel to last year’s anti-Islam film Fitna.

Wilders told De Telegraaf newspaper on Thursday he plans to bring out Fitna II in 2010, and that the film will show the impact of mass migration from Muslim countries on Western society.

“It will not be a copy of Fitna. This is the next phase,” Wilders told the newspaper.

Last year, Wilders, who is a member of the Dutch parliament, released the 16-minute long Fitna on the internet. The short film argues that Islam is a violent religion.

In January 2009 the Amsterdam appeals court ordered prosecutors to put Wilders on trial for promoting hate speech.

Islamic Crusades Episode 6: India's Millennial Burden

Well, the subscribers have been clamoring for a new Islamic Crusades video for months now, and I must admit that it feels good to get back to the meat and potatoes of this site. In researching this video I came across more horrific information than for any previous episode. I was going to cover the entire history from the first incursions of Islamic forces into the subcontinent to the present day, but there was simply too much information. This video gives you a general overview from approximately the 8th century to the 18th century. In Episode 7 I will cover the period following the Mughal Era to the present day, including the post-colonial partition and modern acts of terrorism. Enjoy.

Please read further for a full transcript with links/sources and recommended reading.:

Islamic Crusades 6: India’s Millennial Burden

"...the Islamic conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precious good, whose delicate complex order and freedom can at any moment be overthrown by barbarians invading from without and multiplying from within.” -Historian Will Durant (1885 –1981)

For three days in November 2008, all eyes were transfixed on the Jihadist bloodbath in Mumbai. These scenes of the burning Taj Mahal Hotel were on live feed to cable and satellite networks around the world. Many Westerners had heard of the rivalry between India and Pakistan, and may have been aware of the tensions centering on the disputed territory of Kashmir, but the sheer brutality and brazenness of the Mumbai Massacre brought the Jihad in India to global consciousness as never before. Unfortunately for India, the Mumbai attacks were only unique in terms of the high-profile media coverage accorded to them. The casualty figures, while appalling, were rather standard in the context of the series of Islamic terror attacks in India in the 21st century. And they are dwarfed by the massacres of tens and hundreds of thousands, sometimes in a single day, that pepper the 1300 year history of Islamic conquest on the Indian subcontinent.

Before the Islamic juggernaut burst in from the west, the native religions of these lands were Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism (* SEE CORRECTION). The Jihad against India was extraordinarily brutal even by Islamic standards. This is because unlike the so-called people of the book, Christians and Jews, who enjoyed some basic rights as subjected Dhimmis… Hindus and Buddhists were considered idolaters; the lowest of the low, worthy only of death.

Only 25 years after Muhammad’s death Islamic forces had crushed the Sassanid Persian Empire, and thus brought the spearhead of Islam to the borderlands of India. The first permanent Muslim foothold on the subcontinent was achieved with Muhammad bin Qasim's conquest of Sindh in 711 A.D. He demolished temples, shattered sculptures, plundered palaces, killed all able-bodied men and carried their women and children into slavery. For example, it took his army three days to slaughter all the inhabitants of the port city of Debal. But the Arab Muslim conquest would stall here in the northwestern frontier.

By the end of the tenth century however, newly Islamized Turkic tribes began to expand the Ummah into what is now Northwest India proper. Mahmud of Ghazni (971-1030), who was also known as the "Sword of Islam," mounted seventeen plundering expeditions between 997 and 1027 into North India.

Each winter Mahmud descended into India, filled his treasure chest with spoils, and amused his men with full freedom to pillage and kill; each spring he returned to his capital richer than before. At Mathura he took from the temple its statues of gold encrusted with precious stones, and emptied its coffers of a vast quantity of gold, silver and jewelry; he expressed his admiration for the architecture of the great shrine, judged that its duplication would cost one hundred million dinars and the labor of two hundred years, and then ordered it to be soaked with naptha and burnt to the ground. Six years later he sacked another opulent city of northern India, Somnath, killed all its fifty thousand inhabitants, and dragged its wealth to Ghazni. In the end he became, perhaps, the richest king that history has ever known.

- Historian Will Durant, from "The Story of Civilization: Our Oriental Heritage” 1935. pp. 459-463

A subsequent conqueror, Muhammad Khilji had the distinction of single-handedly wiping out Buddhist culture on the subcontinent by the end of the 12th century. He conquered their stronghold in Bihar and burned their famous library to the ground, slaughtering thousands of Buddhist monks and destroying dozens of ancient temples in the process. Muslims have done their best to erase any trace of this culture, even as recently as March 2001 when the Taliban destroyed four giant statues of Buddha in Bamiyan, Afghanistan.

Khiliji’s brutality also incited the first case of Jauhar in India. Jauhar is a desperate act of mass self-immolation. When Khiliji besieged the city of Chittor the Hindu inhabitants realized their cause was hopeless. As the men rode off to certain death in battle, the women and children burned themselves alive rather than suffer the dishonor of being killed or enslaved by the conquerors.

Another Turkic Muslim warlord, Timur, known as Tamerlane in the West, crossed the Indus River in 1398 and eventually captured the capital of Delhi. Timur explains the motivation for his conquest in his personal memoirs:

About this time there arose in my heart the desire to lead an expedition against the infidels, and to become a ghazi; for it had reached my ears that the slayer of infidels is a ghazi, and if he is slain he becomes a martyr. It was on this account that I formed this resolution, but I was undetermined in my mind whether I should direct my expedition against the infidels of China or against the infidels and polytheists of India. In this matter I sought an omen from the Kuran, and the verse I opened upon was this, “O Prophet, make war upon infidels and unbelievers and treat them with severity” [Quran 66:9]. My great officers told me that the inhabitants of Hindustan were infidels and unbelievers. In obedience to the order of Almighty Allah I determined on an expedition against them.

- From the Malfuzat-i Timuri, an autobiographical memoir of the Emperor Timur (1336-1405)

Later he describes the sack of Delhi in his own words:

In a short space of time all the people in the fort were put to the sword, and in the course of one hour the heads of 10,000 infidels were cut off. The sword of Islam was washed in the blood of the infidels, and all the goods and effects, the treasure and the grain which for many a long year had been stored in the fort became the spoil of my soldiers. They set fire to the houses and reduced them to ashes, and they razed the buildings and the fort to the ground....All these infidel Hindus were slain, their women and children, and their property and goods became the spoil of the victors. I proclaimed throughout the camp that every man who had infidel prisoners should put them to death, and whoever neglected to do so should himself be executed and his property given to the informer. When this order became known to the ghazis of Islam, they drew their swords and put their prisoners to death.

One hundred thousand infidels, impious idolaters, were on that day slain...on the great day of battle these 100,000 prisoners could not be left with the baggage, and it would be entirely opposed to the rules of war to set these idolaters and enemies of Islam at other course remained but that of making them all food for the sword.

- From the Malfuzat-i Timuri, an autobiographical memoir of the Emperor Timur (1336-1405)

By the early 1500’s the mantle of Islamic power in India had passed to the first Mughal Emperor, Babar. Over the next centuries the Mughal Empire would expand to occupy nearly the entire Indian subcontinent. During the Mughal period outright slaughters and enslavements were less common, but the regime provided many incentives to convert to Islam by means of degrading Dhimmi laws and burdensome Jizya taxes.

So far as the Hindus were concerned, there was no improvement either in their material and moral conditions or in their relations with the Muslims. With the sole exception of Akbar, who sought to conciliate the Hindus by removing some of the glaring evils to which they were subjected, almost all other Mughal Emperors were notorious for their religious bigotry. The Muslim law which imposed many disabilities and indignities upon the Hindus...and thereby definitely gave them an inferior social and political status, as compared to the Muslims, was followed by these Mughal Emperors with as much zeal as was displayed by their predecessors,. The climax was reached during the reign of Aurangzeb, who deliberately pursued the policy of destroying and desecrating Hindu temples and idols with a thoroughness unknown before or since.

-R.C. Majumdar (editor) The Mughul Empire, Bombay, 1974

Based on Muslim chronicles and demographic calculations Indian historian K.S. Lal has estimated that the Hindu population of India decreased by 80 million during the millennium of Islamic rule.

Yet despite a deliberate policy of genocide and conversion over the 1,000 years of partial or complete Muslim rule, the majority of the population miraculously retained their Hindu religion as modernity dawned on the subcontinent. In the next episode we will explore the continuing Islamic efforts to reconquer India in the modern era.

"These massacres perpetrated by Moslems in India are unparalleled in history. In sheer numbers, they are bigger than the Jewish Holocaust, the Soviet Terror, the Japanese massacres of the Chinese during WWII, Mao’s devastations of the Chinese peasantry, the massacres of the Armenians by the Turks, or any of the other famous crimes against humanity of the 20th Century. But sadly, they are almost unknown outside India."

* CORRECTION - Sikhism was not present at the time of the Islamic conquest. Sikhism evolved in the early 16th Century as a militaristic response to Muslim tyranny.

Mainstream Dutch politicians proudly join anti-Jewish hate-march in Amsterdam

An excellent post from Dutch YouTuber ParadiseZion:

This video shows how "Dutch" politicians of the Socialist Party are marching shoulder to shoulder with jihadist colonists in Amsterdam. In other places GroenLinks (GreenLeft) and the Labor party also organized anti-Israel marches which all without exception ended up in anti-Semitic hate-marches reminding us of Hitler's brownshirts.

The mutual differences between the Socialist Party and Geert Wilders.

I) The Socialist Party calls for violence against Israel

II) The Socialist Party marches with the International Socialists, whose prominent members have been to meetings with Hezbollah

III) The Socialist Party and affiliated parties allowed the crowd to shout "Hamas Hamas put the Jews on the Gas"

IV) One man who waved an Israeli flag was threatened with his life by Socialists and jihadist colonists, when journalists filmed this they were also intimidated by members of the International Socialists. The Israeli flag was left their and people destroyed it.

V) The Socialist Party allowed and thus encouraged people shouting Hamas, Hezbollah, Nasrallah in the middle of our capital.

VI) This back-stabbing behavior has not been seen since world war 2

VII) Their electorate are mostly "flower power" babyboomers and jihadist colonists.

VIII) A prominent member of the left wing has equaled the existence of a centuries-old Jewish community in Amsterdam to the so-called "occupation" of the Jewish lands of Samaria and Judea. A prominent member of the left wing has been mocking the number six million, referring to the six million Jews who died in the Shoah. The Socialist Party did not condemn this atrocious act. Instead, since then it has more intensively worked with organizations who desire the destruction of the Jewish state.

IX) In some places, Hitler was admired. The police, as in one case ordered by a Muslim-Moroccan refused to intervene.

X) Is this the conscience of the flower power generation? Is this your welfare state? Your tolerance? Is this what you went to woodstock for? You call this progressive? You think by wearing a red shirt instead of the brown shirt of Hitler's cronies you are less radical? You think refusing the Jewish people the right to their own state doesn't sound in the least anti-Semitic to you?

Baby-boomers, where is your conscience?

UPDATE: IFPS Mohammed Cartoon Fundraiser Succeeds Despite Cyber-Attack

Washington, DC - April 13, 2009: Just one day after world media reported that the International Free Press Society (IFPS) was raising funds to support its free speech activities by selling prints of the most famous of the Danish Mohammed cartoons, the IFPS website suffered a massive cyber-attack.

In the wake of the attack, which began at 6:30 am on Thursday, April 9, 2009, the IFPS created an alternate website which is now in place at

The main site will be restored in the near future at .

Prints of the controversial cartoon can be ordered online at

Sales for the print of “Turban Bomb,” signed and numbered by the Danish artist Kurt Westergaard, continue uninterrupted and indeed, have exceeded expectations, as orders have been processed via more traditional means and email marketing was expanded.

The IFPS was founded in January, 2009 to defend individuals and organizations under assault for exercising their right to free speech. For taking on this mission, the IFPS is under ongoing cyber-attacks. This aggression only serves to underscore the urgency with which free people must come together to defend free speech.

While the website was offline, the IFPS main office at the Danish Free Press Society in Copenhagen, Denmark received an unexpected increase of email, phone and fax orders for the prints of the controversial and historic Westergaard “Turban Bomb” cartoon, as well as calls of concern about the website outage from across Europe and North American. Information on how to purchase the original signed prints is provided at the temporary website and below.

Demand for the cartoon have greatly exceeded expectations, with over 300 orders submitted during the website outage and in the immediate days before. IFPS anticipates that the limited edition of 1000 signed and numbered prints will sell out shortly.

The International Free Press Society provides original research, advocacy and support for authors and artists under attack, and daily news updates on individual cases of repression of free speech particularly in Europe, Canada, and the United States, as well as in India, Africa and Asia. In February, March and April, IFPS helped sponsor speaking tours of major U.S. cities including New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and Miami for Geert Wilders, Dutch Parliamentarian and producer of the controversial film FITNA.

According to Lars Hedegaard, President of the International Free Press Society, people from around the world appear eager to show public support for artists’ and authors’ right to free expression by purchasing copies of the Westergaard signed print. “Orders are coming in from all over the world. Hong Kong, Canada, the US, Bulgaria, Germany, Austria, Norway, Finland, France - you name it.”

Hedegaard took the temporary outage in stride. “This was an attack against IFPS as an organization, and against our mission to support freedom of expression worldwide. Happily, it had the effect of increasing support for our activities as the word spread that we were being threatened. We encourage everyone to visit our temporary website and soon the restored one, and to help support artists like Kurt Westergaard by purchasing a signed copy of his cartoon. We have also started a new Phase 2 viral online fundraising campaign, so that bloggers and website owners who want to support free expression can provide links at their own websites to order a print.”

Diana West, Vice President of the International Free Press Society, added: “In addition to increasing demand for the cartoon prints, this crude cyber-assault on free speech has boosted people’s awareness of the urgency of the IFPS mission.”

Kurt Westergaard, creator of the controversial cartoon, stated “The contemptible attempts to close us down will not succeed. The enemies of free speech will soon realize that their hacker attack on the IFPS website has only made us all the more determined to get our messages out. I take great comfort from the fact that so many people have already bought my cartoon. It’s good to know that freedom of expression has defenders all over the world.”

Geert Wilders: kicking ass and taking names in L.A.

I just finished watching video footage of Geert Wilders' California appearance. He spoke at the David Horowitz Freedom Center on April 4, 2009, and I have to say he was even more on point than when I had the honor to hear him speak in Washington, DC back in February.

Some excerpts:

The first thing everybody needs to know about Islam is the importance of the Quran. As you probably know, the Quran calls for submission for hatred for violence for murder for terrorism and for war. The Quran calls upon Muslims to kill non-Muslims. The Quran describes Jews as monkeys and pigs. And the biggest problem is that the Quran is to be considered as Allah's personal words, with orders that need to be fulfilled regardless of the place or the time.

The second important thing everybody needs to know to understand Islam is the importance of the so-called Prophet Mohammed. His behavior is an example for all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Well let me tell you the truth about this so-called "prophet." Mohammed indeed was a warlord, he was a conqueror, he was a pedophile and he was a mass-murderer. Islamic tradition tells us how he married and consummated [with] the young girl Aisha before she reached the age of 10 years old. How he fought in battles, how he murdered his enemies, how he slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza. And for millions of Muslims the Quran and the life of Mohammed are not ancient history but are an inspiration.

Amen. You can get a feel for the entire evening at David Horowitz TV, including speeches by Robert Spencer and David Horowitz, the short film Fitna in its entirety, and the Q & A session after Wilders speech.

International Free Press Society website comes under malicious attack

Sometime this morning the IFPS website went offline. Apparently it was a "brute force" denial-of-service attack and will be resolved in a few days. The attack coincides with the mass-exposure of the news that IFPS has teamed up with Kurt Westergaard to sell 1,000 signed prints of the famous Mohammed Turban-Bomb cartoon to bolster the cause of free speech. The offer began last week, but the news only hit the mainstream media yesterday.

Inshallah, the site will be back soon. In the meantime spread the word about the sale and get your $250 ready for when the site is back up!

Contrasting Obama's Euro-appeasing words with the sad Euro-reality

YouTuber jplumads has created two excellent videos using Barack Obama's apologetic anti-American Euro-style speech in France as a starting point.

The first contrasts Obama's words about "learning from Europe" with footage of the virtual civil war conditions which are a fact of life now on the streets of many Western European cities:

The second reminds us that Obama's comments about "arrogant" America are eerily similar to the sermons of his mentor for 20 years, Reverend Jeremiah Wright. I can't imagine why that would be:

Organizing for America: the ultimate case of style over substance

On April 1, 2009 Obama's shock troops delivered massive stacks of signed petitions to congressional representatives demanding that Obama's budget be passed.

The video promo is a sick joke. No mention of any policies, of what Obama wants to do with the budget. This is pure cult-of-personality nonsense. Support the budget because you support Obama. If you have the patience, watch this video and notice no specific issues are addressed... AT ALL. The closest thing to a political statement comes at the end when a woman says:

"We have to work for it. This is not- getting him elected isn't gonna be the end. The people that believe in Change have to keep working for it. I mean this is what I believe, so that's why I'm here."

Lady, you just spoke three sentences and I'm not any closer to understanding what exactly you "believe." Meaningless hope, change, blah blah, crap. Obama used this infantile and vague language in the campaign so I guess we can't expect much more from his supporters.

What's in the budget? I dunno... but Hail Obama!

Culturism must replace Multiculturalism

Those of us who follow events in Europe know that the concept of Multiculturalism is unsustainable and self-destructive, but what do we replace it with? John Kenneth Press has an answer: "Culturism." His basic philosophy:

'Culturism' is the opposite of 'multiculturalism.'

The West does have a core traditional culture to guide, protect and promote.

Culturism holds that majority cultures have a right to protect, promote and guide themselves. All non-western cultures are culturist. We have a right to be culturist as well.

We are losing the rhetorical debate. Injecting culturism and culturist into our vocabulary will help protect the West.

Future NATO head Rasmussen grovels before the Islamic world

This man showed true courage when he refused to denounce the free speech rights of his own Danish citizens during the 2006 Mohammad cartoon "crisis." Now that he's seeking a position outside of his home country he is kissing the ring of Turkey and exuding Dhimmitude. He doesn't quite apologize for his former position, but he definitely uses weaselly words to please Muslims and the politically-correct enforcers of the West.

“…this opportunity to comment directly on the issue of the cartoons in Denmark. My position was clear before, during and after the crisis. I condemn any action that attempts to demonize people on the grounds of their religion or their ethnic background. I respect Islam as one of the world’s major religions, as well as its religious symbols. I respect the religious feelings of other people and I have to tell you that consequently I would never myself depict any religious figure including the Prophet Mohammad in a way that could hurt other people’s feelings. Likewise, I was deeply distressed that the cartoons by many Muslims were seen as an attempt by Denmark to mock, insult, or behave disrespectfully towards Islam or the Prophet Mohammad. Nothing could be further from my mind. And I would also like to tell you that during my tenure as the Secretary General of NATO I will pay close attention to the religious and cultural sensibilities of the different communities that populate our increasingly pluralistic and globalized world. And as Secretary General one of my key priorities will be to establish and intensify dialogue and cooperation with the Muslim world.”

Human Rights Vs. The Quran

STOPShariaLAWnow has produced an excellent video contrasting the UN Declaration of Human Rights with the anti-life values of the Quran. This is especially relevant today as the UN Human Rights council continues to pass resolutions against the "defamation of religions." These measures are introduced by the Organization of the Islamic Conference to chill free speech and outlaw criticism of Islam and the Quran. The values contained in the Quran are the antithesis of the values contained in the Declaration of Human Rights. The UN has become a sick parody of itself.

Europeans may sanction the Jewish state for daring to defend itself

The new right-leaning government of Benjamin Netanyahu is less eager to commit suicide than the previous Israeli government. They've noticed that "ending the Zionist occupation of Gaza" has only brought Islamist missiles closer to their homes and children, so they have not openly endorsed the "Two-State Solution." Doing so would put another 1.5 million Arabs in the West Bank under Hamas' control and bring all major Israeli population centers and Ben-Gurion International Airport under rocket and missile fire.

On the very day the Netanyahu government took power, at least 10 European governments threatened sanctions if Israel did not sign its own death warrant. From Haaretz:

As early as this month, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman could face international pressure to clarify their position on the creation of a Palestinian state.

At a closed-door dinner of European Union diplomats held Friday in the Czech Republic, several senior officials said Israel must be required to present an explicit commitment accepting the principle of "two states for two peoples," and if it fails, the process of upgrading Israel-EU relations should be frozen.

At least 10 communiques from Israeli embassies in Europe arrived at the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem in recent days painting a difficult picture of the level of trust felt in Europe towards the Netanyahu government, particularly on diplomatic matters.

The dispatches all had the same message: The diplomats present at the dinner criticized Israel on its handling of negotiations with the Palestinians, settlement building, the destruction of homes in East Jerusalem and the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon told Netanyahu Thursday he hopes to work in cooperation with the prime minister "to renew the peace process, in which the goal is to create an independent, sustainable Palestinian state living in peace alongside Israel."

I'm curious to hear how the UN and the EU will ensure that the theoretical Palestinian state will "live in peace" with Israel. Peacekeepers? Ha.
